So I'm going traveling around Europe for 5 weeks and I'm leaving on Wednesday.

I could do with some good plot bunnies to work on whilst I'm on trains and stuff. I wonder if something will come to me...
I have the one that was given to me on fictionalley.org - a Ron/Viktor one-shot. I suppose I could try to work on that one.

I've been reading a lot of fic by Anise recently. It's fantastically sexy.

Today I found out where I'm living in Purdue in August. I got assigned to Purdue Village. That sucks a bit to be honest, because it's more like apartments and I wanted proper Halls of Residence again. But I guess it'll work out fine. I have 2 roommates instead of just one...that'll be a further challenge.
On the plus side, I can maybe have a pet. I'd like to get a kitten, but I don't know how realistic that is. I'll have to see what my roommates think.

I <3 David Tennant!  Lol, I've been watching a lot of Doctor Who recently.  And Torchwood.  It's not as good as Doctor Who but Captain Jack Harkness is its saving grace.

I stayed out late drinking on Monday with Cat.  We went to the bar on campus at 4.30 for a post-lab beverage with some other people, and gradually everyone else left until it was just us too.  We stayed 'til 11.30 and got pretty drunk, and Cat missed her last bus home so she came back here to sleep.  The next day Joe was acting all appalled that I was drunk, and commenting on how late I'd been out.  Just because he's boring and never does anything fun *ever* doesn't mean that I should be the same.  I'm 20 years old; I can stay out late and get a bit pissed if I want to.  It felt like he was being my parents or something.
I wish he'd get a life.

It's nearly exam time.  I'd planned to do my lab report today but I've actually done nothing at all except watch a bit of alluc stuff and go to the gym.  I'm going to cook Spaghetti Carbonara and garlic bread for dinner and then watch Teen Wolf.  Michael J. Fox!!  Woo, I love him.  Ollie still has my copy of MJF's autobiography; I hope he gives it back.  
Speaking of Ollie, I'm really not looking forward to that meeting in the summer.  Oh joy, giving back all of his stuff.

I booked my US Visa interview at The Embassy in London today - I'm going in revision week, so not very long from now!  Scary stuff.

So I haven't done as much work as I'd planned to yet, and the holiday's one week down already.  Still, that means that there are 2 weeks left to do my lab report, pre-labs and revision.

On the plus side, I've done lots of other things.  I've spent a lot of time on fictionalley.org and posted a lot on the SS Guns and Handcuffs and the HMS Wolfstar.  I got myself staff positions there too.  And I persuaded someone from the facebook Draco/Harry shippers group to join and use SCUSA.  Yay for me!
I also watched the first episode of the new Doctor Who series.  Hannah and Louise had been saying for ages how good Doctor Who was but now I finally understand.  So I've begun to watch the last series on alluc.org.  David Tennant is fabulous.

I've found a new fic website!  Well...actually, I've been there before but I'd forgotton about it.  It could well prevent me from revising for at least another week.
And I finished Stealing Harry (by samvimes I believe?) a couple of days ago.  Why hadn't I read that before, it was amazing!  I'm reading the sequels now but they don't seem as good as the first one.  But meh, isn't that always the way?

Tomorrow I have to get up early *sob*.  My sister wants to go shopping before her friends come at 10.  I haven't got up  before 10.15 once in all the time I've been home.  And I must remember to book tickets for Equus.  I saw a picture of Daniel Radcliffe completely starkers and *wow*, that boy has grown...
